Missed Kimi no Na Wa when it first came out in cinemas in 2016? You better mark your calendars now because Makoto Shinkai’s 2016 film Kimi no Na Wa (Your Name) is coming to Netflix next week, July 10!

The anime film tells the story of Tachibana Taki – a boy from Tokyo – and Miyamizu Mitsuha – a girl from a rural town – who wake up in the body of the other. As the occurrence randomly happens between them, the two eventually are able to build a connection through notes and messages. The two then try to find a way to find each other, only to realize that distance is not the only thing keeping them apart.
Your Name is known to be the highest-grossing film of all time. It won the Best Animated Feature Film award at the 49th Sitges Film Festival, the 2016 Los Angeles Film Critics Association Awards, and the 71st Mainich Film Awards.
It’s directed by Makoto Shinkai, whose other works include 5 Centimeters Per Second, The Garden of Words, and Weathering With You.
Kimi no Na Wa (Your Name) is streaming on Netflix this July 10.
