"The more you love, the lonelier it gets."
Netflix is kicking off its K-drama slate for the year with My Holo Love, an original drama telling the story of togetherness, set for release this February 7.
Check out the first teaser to the drama here:
My Holo Love revolves around three extraordinary individuals: So Yeon, who suffers from face blindness disorder and is distancing herself from the world; Holo, an AI assistant who is perfect and is just realizing his limits as an artificial intelligence; and Nan Do, Holo's developer who begins to catch feelings for Soyeon as he watches her and Holo's interactions.
According to director Lee Sang Yeop (Familiar Wife, Shopaholic Louis), this upcoming romantic drama will also be telling the story of people who may seem to be living glamorous lives, while suffering from broken hearts underneath it.
The drama will be featuring a screenplay by Ryu Young Jae (Time Between Dog and Wolf, Pied Piper) and will star Ko Sung Hee as So Yeon and Yoon Hyun Min as both Halo and Nan Do.
My Holo Love launches exclusively on Netflix this February 7.
