"My name is Kara Zor-El. 24 years ago, my planet was in peril. My cousin, Kal-El was sent to a planet called Earth. You may know his story, but you don't know mine. Until now," is the introduction from the lengthy trailer which CBS posted.
The trailer shows Kara leaving Krypton and 24-years later, she's on Earth living a normal life and showing a bit of her transition into a superhero that she is — including the different outfits she had to go through before landing the perfect suit. It also includes the famous tagline with a tiny modification, "It's not a bird, it's not a plane, it's not a man, it's Supergirl."
