Fight the dead. Survive the living.
We're a few weeks away from the much-awaited comeback of the Korean Netflix Original Kingdom. After treating the fans with first-look images featuring their favorite characters, Netflix has finally dropped the official teaser of what to expect from the upcoming season, which starts streaming on March 13.
Check it out below:
The second season picks up just as Crown Prince Lee Chang and his people begin to realize that the zombies' weakness isn't what they thought it would be. It continues to follow the Crown Prince as he protects his people from the undead, all while journeying back to Hanyang to uncover the conspiracy involving the throne of Joseon.
Aside from hinting Seo Bi getting closer to uncovering the root of the plague, the teaser also shows Lee Chan finally arriving back to the palace, confronting the queen who only looks down on him to dismiss his threat. Cornered and running out of other options, the Crown Prince faces a double-edged sword, with the Cho family refusing to step out of power, and the infected threatening to poison the kingdom.
Kingdom stars Ju Ji Hoon, Bae Doona, Ryu Seung Ryong, Kim Sang Ho, Kim Sung Kyu, and more. It's directed by Kim Seung Hun (A HArd Day, The Tunnel), with a screenplay by Kim Eun Hee (Signal, Phantom).
The second season of Kingdom launches globally on Netflix this March 13. Stream the first season here.
