A Model Family is the newest Netflix drama coming to our screens very soon! And just today, the streaming site has announced that Jung Woo, Park Hee Soon, Yoon Ji Seo, and Park Ji Yeon will be part of the impressive lineup of actors starring in it.
The upcoming drama tells the story of a man on the brink of bankruptcy and divorce who stumbles upon a car loaded with money. Because of this, he ends up meeting the second-in-command of a drug organization.
Jung Woo (Reply 1994, C’est Si Bon) stars as Dong Ha, the head of the household who gets caught in the dealings of a drug organization. Meanwhile, Park Hee Soon, who we saw in The Witch: Part 1 – The Subversion, plays Kwang Chul, the second-in-command who will stop at nothing for his money.
Aside from the two leads, Yoon Ji Seo (Oldboy, The Girl Who Sees Scents) will also be starring as Eun Ju, Dong Ha’s wife with a secret. Lastly, Park Ji Yeon (Stranger, Life) stars as Joo Hyun, the team leader of the Narcotic and Organized Crime Investigation Division which is investigating Dong Ha and Kwang Chul.
The drama comes from director Kim Jin Woo (Suits, Queen of Mystery, Love Alarm). Production H, on the other hand, which is the company behind Homemade Love Story and The Tale of Nokdu will be in charge of production.
