D.P. is the upcoming Netflix drama that’s set to tell the stories of soldiers who have deserted their posts. And just ahead of its premiere this August 27, the streaming site has released the main trailer for the drama, which gives us a glimpse of Jung Hae In and Koo Kyo Hwan in action.

The trailer shows the member of the D.P. team out of their base and blending in with society. The team works like detectives, investigating and going on stake-outs to catch those who have abandoned their posts. We also get to see Jung Hae In’s An Jun Ho and Koo Kyo Hwan in action as they pursue soldiers and learn their individual stories.
D.P. is a drama centering on a young army private named Joon Ho, who is assigned to work in the military’s Deserter Pursuit unit, which is responsible for tracking down soldiers who went AWOL. As he works in this post, he encounters the realities of confused young soldiers, learning the troubles that young people have been facing.
The drama comes from Han Jun Hee (Coin Locker Girl), who directed and wrote the screenplay for the drama alongside webtoon artist Kim Bo Tong. Joining Jung Hae In and Koo Kyo Hwan in this drama are Kim Sung Kyun and Song Seok Koo.
D.P. launches globally on Netflix this August 27.
