Streaming giant Netflix has just announced that they will be launching a Netflix original series called YG Future Strategy Office with Korean talent management agency YG Entertainment. Just imagine seeing some of your favorite talents in one show, right?
YG FSO is an 8-episode series which would be starring BIGBANG's Seungri, SNL Korea's Yoo Byung Jae, and Sechskies' Lee Jae Jin. Seungri will be playing as the head of YG's newly-formed department, where many of the company's "troublemakers" have been sent. There, they work together to regain their place in the company.
Aside from the 3 main stars, YG also hinted on a number of guest appearances by other YG talents, including iKON, BLACKPINK, and WINNER. They have also released 2 teasers last year, which gives fans a glimpse of who and what to expect from the upcoming sitcom/variety show. (Hint: It has Epik High, Akdong Musician, 2NE1's CL, and even YG's CEO Yang Hyun Suk)
You can watch the two videos (without subtitles) here:
The show will be directed by Park Joon Soo and will be written by Kim Min Seok who also took part in SNL Korea.
No release date has been announced yet, but fans of these idols could only expect for the show to be available for streaming in over 190 countries, with English subtitles, for fans all over the world to enjoy.
In the meantime, there are a ton of Korean dramas and variety shows you could binge watch right now on Netflix while waiting for YG FSO to launch.
