The 77th Golden Globe Awards concluded yesterday, January 6, giving recognition to excellent films and TV series released in the past year.
Some of the titles that had been recognized during the ceremony include the Korean film Parasite (Best Motion Picture – Foreign Language), 1917 (Best Motion Picture – Drama), and Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood (Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy). Joaquin Phoenix, Renee Zellweger, Awkwafina, and Taron Egerton also won the major awards for their performances in Joker, Judy, The Farewell, and Rocketman, respectively.
HBO also received four wins, the most awards for the night. Chernobyl bagged 2 Golden Globes: Best Television Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television and Best Performance by An Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television for Stellan Skarsgård.
Succession also brought home 2 awards: Best Television Series – Drama and Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Drama for Brian Cox.
These two shoes also tied with Fleabag for being the most nominated television show in last night's award show.
