It's been a few months since Netflix made the 2018 reboot of Meteor Garden available in most countries! That is, excluding the Philippines.
A good news for the fans of the Taiwanese version, though, Netflix has recently just announced via their Twitter account that the 2001 TV show – yes, the original one! – will be available for streaming starting today, November 15!

Meteor Garden is based on a Japanese manga series called "Hana Yori Dango (Boys Over Flowers)", centering on a poor teenage girl who goes to study at a university for rich people. There, she learns to stand up for herself and against a group of rich boys known as F4 or Flower 4, who terrorizes and bullies the students they don't like until they leave the school. The show stars Barbie Hsu, Jerry Yan, Vic Zhou, Ken Chu, and Vanness Wu.
The show launches on Netflix today, November 15. Aside from this, you can also stream its Korean TV adaptation, Boys Over Flowers, on the website if you feel like having a Meteor Garden marathon over the weekend.
