FIRST LOOK: Ayala Triangle Gardens’ Gallery of Lights 2019

The Gallery of Lights 2019 at the Ayala Triangle Gardens is officially open! Here's a first look at their awe-inspiring light show for this year's holiday season!

The most wonderful time of the year is here and with it comes the numerous lights and sound installations all around the metro. In Makati, you don't have to look far to get a glimpse of these awe-inspiring light shows as the Ayala Triangle Gardens is quite known for its annual celebration filled with dazzling lights and music.

The Gallery of Lights for the yuletide season of 2019 has just been officially lit up this November 12. And while last year's Disney-themed installation gave us a shining and shimmering experience, this year's installation combines the new design concepts of lighting director Voltaire de Jesus and Luther Garmia, with classic Christmas staples that will surely remind everyone of their Christmases while growing up.

The lights this year will be dancing to the tune of three different medleys: a techno-inspired number from Tris Suguitan, the jazz-inspired tunes of the Big Band medley from Mel Villena, and a Filipino medley by Von de Guzman that includes the familiar Christmas tunes from our days as little carollers.

The Gallery of Lights is also getting bigger, thus brighter this year with the debut of their latest light spectacle at the dome of Tower One and Exchange Plaza called the Carol of Lights, which is a 3D video mapping show filled with immersive images inspired by churches' ceilings and stained glass windows. This is made possible by Epson Philippines, designed by G.A. Fallarme and conceptualized with Henk-Gert Lenten.
