Robinsons Hotels & Resorts' Circle of Clean

Your Stay is Safe with Robinsons Hotels & Resorts’ ‘Circle of Clean’

It's an elevated standard of hygiene and cleanliness based on the New Normal protocols from WHO and DOH.

If you take your health and well-being seriously, choosing an accommodation establishment that places your safety as its number one concern is a must. Besides offering its signature brand of excellent customer service, Robinsons Hotels and Resorts reassures all guests of its commitment to their health through the Circle of Clean—an elevated standard of hygiene and cleanliness based on the New Normal protocols recommended by the World Health Organization and the Department of Health.

These protocols have been rigorously adopted by Go Hotels and Summit Hotels and Resorts to provide all guests a worry-free stay, from the second they first walk through the hotel’s doors to the time they bid goodbye. The Circle of Clean program benefits all guests, including those who avail themselves of the value-for-money Home to Go package.

Upon entering any Robinsons Hotels and Resorts property, guests will immediately notice the disinfection mats in all entry points, the availability of alcohol and hand sanitizers, and visibility of social distancing markers, safety and health reminders. Behind the check-in counters, hotel associates, equipped with face mask, face shield and gloves, stand ready to address every guest concern. Clear acrylic barriers between staff and guests are in place for added safety, while luggage and keycards are thoroughly sanitized before they are released to guests.   To avoid unnecessary contact, prepayment and cashless modes of payment are highly advised.

Heading up to the guest rooms, access to the elevators is granted to a maximum of five passengers to maintain proper social distancing. You shouldn’t worry about touching the elevator buttons, however, as they’re regularly cleaned and disinfected. In public areas of the hotel, Circle of Clean Ambassadors are around to ensure that physical distancing is observed and to remind everyone to wear their face mask at all times.

Before entering your room, check that it has the Circle of Clean door seal. If it is in place, this is your guarantee that the room has been sanitized to a high standard. Inside, Circle of Clean hygiene kits are provided as part of the welcome amenities. To further boost awareness on the importance of hygiene, guests regularly receive “COCO” alerts on their phones, aside from the reminders that flash on their devices every time they log on to the hotel Wi-Fi.

When cleaning rooms, attendants wear full PPE gear to ensure their safety as well. Cleaning tools and equipment are disinfected with every use, using US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approved products provided by Ecolab, a recognized expert in the hygiene service industry.

All meals are meticulously prepared with strict observance of government-approved food safety protocols.

In light of social distancing guidelines, new Food & Beverage service protocols have also been put in place. Instead of the usual meals served in the hotels’ F&B outlets, pre-packaged sets are available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Room service is also offered, with contactless delivery for pre-ordered Flash Meals and Bento Boxes. In the kitchens, hygiene and cleanliness are strictly observed, and staff are made to wear PPEs to further ensure food safety. Onsite restaurants – Café Summit Tagaytay and Café Summit Greenhills – received certification from the Department of Tourism (DOT) for its strict observance of government-approved food safety protocols.

When it’s time for you to go, your returned key cards are automatically disinfected, and the same goes for your luggage. Even after checkout, Robinsons Hotels & Resorts shows that it cares by sending guests thank you notes and reminders on public health protocols via email. Guests also have the choice to continue receiving COCO alerts on their phone.

Things will definitely be different in the New Normal, and Robinsons Hotels & Resorts is taking hygiene and cleanliness to a whole new level. For your health, safety and security, step inside the Circle of Clean.
