1. Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade (Below the Observation Deck)
Central Station – Tsim Sha Tsui Station

How to get there: From the nearest MTR station, head straight to Hong Kong Cultural Center and go under the Observation Platform/Deck.

Getting the shot: To get a dramatic silhouette, face the harbour alone or you can create a dramatic group shot with your barkada. If facing the camera is you’re a-game, just make sure to get good lighting so you could perfectly capture the background and your smile.

Tip: People flock to this area so it’s best to pick a spot that’s less crowded.
 

2. Po Lin Monastery (Rooftop Corner)
Central Station – Tsuen Wan (Lai King) – Tung Chung (Tung Chung Station) – Cable Car (Ngong Ping 360)

How to get there: At the farthest point of Ngong Ping Village, Po Lin Monastery will welcome you with a meek entry way that leads to its majestic temple. This is an 8-minute walk from the Tian Tan Big Buddha.

Getting the shot: Walk around the monastery and spot the most colorful and intricate architecture it has to offer. Go with whatever catches your heart since everything is picture-perfect!
 

3. Nan Lian Garden (Staircase going to Chi Lin Nunnery)
Central Station – Subway towards Tsuen Wan (Mongkok Station) – Tiu Keng Leng (Diamond Hill Station)

How to get there: Follow the path towards Chi Lin Nunnery and you’ll definitely pass by this area. The boundary of Nan Lian Garden is just 1-2 minutes away from there!

4. Chi Lin Nunnery (In front of the Temple)
Central Station – Subway towards Tsuen Wan (Mongkok Station) – Tiu Keng Leng (Diamond Hill Station)

How to get there: The staircase from #3 will lead to another staircase towards the temple. This floral arrangement is situated at the leftmost part of the walkway area upon ascent.

Getting the shot: Upon entry, stand by the floral display and cop a fresh, vibrant shot. With such an effortless background, nothing can ever go wrong with a total eye-catcher.
 

5. IFC Mall (Near the entrance)
From Central Station – Walk towards IFC Mall OR Ride the minibus to Central Hong Kong Station (Two IFC) – Walk towards the mall

How to get there: Head to the staircases near the Central Elevated Walkway along and you can easily spot this area. This is nearby Connaught Rd Central and Rumsey Street Flyover.  

Getting the shot: Pick an angle that will showcase the monochromatic tones of the buildings. Dose up on an urban photo. Low angled shots work best to emphasize the greenery and establishments around. Note that it's best to do this early in the morning to avoid the crowd.
 

6. Disneyland (Toy Story Land)
Central Station – Subway towards Tsuen Wan (Lai King Station) – Subway towards Tung Chung (Sunny Bay Station) – Subway towards DisneylandResort Station

How to get there: Toy Story Land can be found at the eastern part of the park. If you’re coming from Fantasy Land, just follow the road leading towards the entrance. It’s also nearby the Jungle River and Garden of Wonders.

Getting the shot: Don’t be in a hurry getting on the rides. Stand in the middle and get a wide shot of everything; the goal is to look like you're also one of the toys. Yes, your childhood dreams can come true! 
 

7. Central Hong Kong (Gage St. and Battery Road)
Central Station – Walk towards Queen’s Rd Central – Stanley St. – Graham St. – Gage St. (Graham Street Market)

How to get there: From Pedder St. (Central Station MTR), you’ll be walking along Queen’s Rd Central, to Stanley Street all the way to Graham Street. Along Graham, you’ll be able to spot the store Feather & Bone where Gage St. is located. Walk around the area and catch the bustling Graham Street Market. SoHo will also be a great area to explore afterwards.
