Love Alarm Season 2
After a two-year wait, Love Alarm has finally returned for Season 2! The 6-episode drama takes place 4 years after the events of season 1. It follows the three leads — Jojo, Hye Yeong, and Sun Oh — as they deal with the conflicts in themselves and with each other while coping with the effects of the Love Alarm app in society.
Kim So Hyun, Jung Ga Ram, and Song Kang all return for the season, alongside Go Min Si and Kim Si Eun.
Love Alarm Season 2 is now streaming on Netflix.
Fruits Basket Season 3
The trailer to the third and final season of Fruits Basket is finally here, and it comes just in time for its premiere this April. The anime is based on the manga of the same name and follows Tohru Honda who becomes involved and discovers the secrets of the mysterious Sohma family. The family is cursed to transform into animals whenever someone of the opposite sex hugs them.
The first two seasons of the anime series is currently streaming on Netflix.
Yasuke
Netflix has treated anime fans with the first-look photos for the new anime series Yasuke. The series comes from Studio MAPPA, and follows Yasuke — an African samurai who served under the Japanese daimyō Oda Nobunaga. The story takes place in an alternate feudal Japan with mechs and magic. Here, he must protect a mysterious child who’s targeted by dark forces and bloodthirsty warlords.
LeSean Thomas directs Yasuke, with LaKeith Stanfield voicing the legendary samurai. It premieres on the streaming site this April 29. Netflix has also recently announced more news on two upcoming anime titles: The Way of the Househusband and Trese.

Another title that launched on Netflix over the last week is YES DAY. The film follows parents Allison and Carlos who have been used to saying “no” to their children. They then decide to give their kids a “YES DAY,” where their children get to make the rules for 24 hours. What they didn’t know though, is that through this YES day, they get to go on an adventure all around Los Angeles, making the family closer than ever.
It stars Jennifer Garner, Édgar Ramirez, Jenna Ortega, Julian Lerner, Everly Carganilla, and more.
