Alden Richards’ Virtual Concert
Alden Richards’ is the first Filipino artist to perform a virtual reality concert in the country last week! Entitled Alden’s Reality: The Virtual Reality Concert, the show fused technology and performances together for a full-length concert where Alden also interacted with fans from the comforts of their homes. Some of the performances Alden did in the show include his rendition of “God Gave Me You” and “Goin’ Crazy,” as well as a dance of cover “Dynamite.”

BTS’ “Dynamite” Holiday Remix
As their special gift to ARMYs this Christmas, BTS has released the latest remix to their chart-topping song “Dynamite” last Friday. The drop of the track comes with a fun holiday-themed video, which features all 7 members as they sing with Christmas decorations in the background.
In the same week, the group was also hailed Time Magazine’s Entertainer of the Year for 2020.
The Prom
Netflix’s newest musical film The Prom is now streaming! The film stars Meryll Streep, James Corden, Andrew Rannells, and Nicole Kidman as four theater actors who are all trying to save their public images. To do this, they rally behind a high schooler named Emma – who’s been banned of attending the prom with her girlfriend, Alyssa – to give her a night she won’t forget.

Star Wars Titles Coming to Disney+
Disney treated Star Wars fans to some good news in last week’s Disney Investor Day live stream. In the said event, Disney has announced two new shows that will tie in with The Mandalorian. Aside from this, Lucasfilm’s Kathleen Kennedy also announced Hayden Christensen as the new Darth Vader in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series, shared footage of The Bad Batch, an gave fans a glimpse on Andor — the upcoming Rogue One prequel. Disney also announced that Taika Waititi will be directing the upcoming untitled Star Wars film.

Taylor Swift’s Evermore
Taylor Swift released evermore — her ninth studio album — last Friday. The 15-track album is the sister album of folklore, which dropped less than five months ago. Released alongside the full album is the music video for “willow,” which Swift directed herself.
Some of the other songs included in the album are “dorothea,” “no body, no crime (feat. HAIM),” “coney island (feat. The National),” and “evermore (feat. Bon Iver).”
