WATCH: Ayala’s Festival of Lights is Now Online

The much-anticipated lights and sound show in Makati has moved to the digital platform this year!

In recent years, the Festival of Lights in Ayala Triangle Gardens, Makati has become one of the top destinations in the city whenever the holiday season kicks in.

This comes as no surprise because every end of the year, the peaceful gardens smacked in the middle of the city turns into something else entirely. It transforms into an awe-inspiring light show with dazzling and dancing illuminations paired with joyful music welcoming the Christmas season.

Ayala Triangle Gardens came to life with ‘The Gallery of Lights’ last year.

However, because of the current pandemic, we won’t be seeing the annual spectacle in person this year. But this doesn’t mean that the Festival of Lights will skip sparking happiness this 2020.

Ayala Land and Make It Makati have moved this year’s Festival of Lights to digital platforms, so we can enjoy watching its light shows safely at home!

A virtual Christmas spectacle

Conceptualized in collaboration with Globe Studios, and produced by director Quark Henares, the Festival of Lights 2020, Lights and Sound Show Virtual Edition is now available on Ayala Land and Make It Makati’s Facebook pages.

They have recreated the annual festival through a 360-degree animated video on the said platforms. Witness an exciting orchestration of laser lights, string lights, meteor lights, holograms, and helix lights dancing to the tune of Reese Lansangan’s rendition of beloved Christmas songs such as Oh Holy Night and Jingle Bells. Watch it here.

Aside from the 360-degree video, you can also take selfies for the occasion with various light show-themed Instagram filters that will soon be available. People are also invited to join their Finders Keepers contest every week of December. Viewers can win a prize by finding a hidden element in the show.

“The annual lights and sound show has been a family favorite for years. Itā€™s one of the most-awaited Christmas events that bring happiness to people,” shares Mel Ignacio, Head of Makati Estate, Ayala Land.

“For this reason, Ayala Land and Make It Makati decided to continue the annual tradition by bringing the show through digital channels. We want the event to spark hope among Filipinosā€”hope that will help them remember that brighter days lie ahead for all of us.”
