Start-Up, the newest drama starring Bae Suzy, Nam Joo Hyuk, Kim Seon Ho, and Kang Han Na finally premiered over the weekend! The first two episodes were met with mostly positive reviews. This is especially after the cliffhanger in episode 2, when Nam Do San finally meets Seo Dal Mi at Won In Jae’s networking event.

Start-Up centers on four people and their struggles as they try to succeed in the world of start-ups. New episodes drop on Netflix every Saturday and Sunday at 10PM.

Alden Richards’ Virtual Reality Concert

Alden Richards will be holding Alden’s Reality — a virtual reality concert — this December 8. The first-ever VR concert here in the Philippines, and it aims to give fans a “virtual date” with the star. It will be combining cutting-edge technology to produce performances that are more interactive and immersive for fans.


EXO’s CHEN’s Enlistment

On October 16, EXO’s CHEN released a handwritten letter addressed to fans, announcing that he will be enlisting in the military this October 26. The announcement came after the release of his latest single “Hello” last October 15. He is the third member of the group to enter the military, following Xiumin, D.O., and Suho.

The Trial of the Chicago 7

Aaron Sorkin’s newest film The Trial of the Chicago 7 launched last Friday, October 16. The film is set during 1968, when the Democratic Nation Convention turned into a clash between the police and the National Guard. It follows the organizers of the protest in the trial that they go through after they are charged with conspiracy to incite a riot. It stars Sacha Baron Cohen, Eddie Redmayne, Joseph Gordon Levitt, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jeremy Strong, and more.

Demon Slayer the Movie: Mugen Train

Demon Slayer the Movie: Mugen Train finally premiered in Japanese cinemas last Friday, breaking one-day admission records in the country. The movie follows the events of the anime series based on the manga. It centers on Tanjiro, Inosuke, Zenitsu, and Nezuko who goes on a mission with the Flame Hashira, Kyojuro Rengoku. There, they set out to find the demon responsible for the mysterious disappearance of 40 people in a short period of time.

According to ODEX, the movie will premiere in Philippine cinemas early next year.
