BTS’ “Dynamite”

BTS dropped their newest single “Dynamite” last Friday, six months after the release of their album Map of the Soul: 7. The disco-pop track is the group’s first full English song and is about joy and confidence while treasuring the little things in life. The colorful music video broke the record for being the most viewed video in 24 hours, with 101.1 million views.

DC FanDome

The first day of the DC FanDome happened yesterday, and as expected, the event treated fans with the newest trailers and never-before-seen content from some of DC’s highly-anticipated content. Some of the biggest reveals from the event include the trailers for Wonder Woman 1984 and The Snyder Cut, as well as first-look images on The Batman and James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad.

The second day of the DC FanDome will be on September 13, 1AM, Philippine Time. The event is set to give fans access to more than 100 hours of on-demand content.

Tenet‘s Newest Trailer

The final trailer to Christopher Nolan’s newest film TENET has finally been unveiled last Saturday. It features the newest song by Travis Scott called “The Plan” and gives the audience a brief glimpse of the film’s mind-boggling concept. TENET stars John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Clémence Poésy, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and more. The film premieres in areas where cinemas are open starting this September 5.

After 15 years of being home to Filipino musicians, Route 196 announced on Sunday that it will be closing down. As soon as the announcement was made, Route 196 trended on Twitter as people shared their thoughts and favorite memories of the bar. As a farewell to its patrons, Route 196 will be releasing The Route 196 Farewell T-Shirt, designed by Rob Cham.

The Society and I Am Not Okay With This Netflix Cancellations

Netflix confirmed that The Society and I Am Not Okay With This will no longer be returning for season 2. The two shows have already received the green light for the second season but was unfortunately canceled because of the uncertainty caused by the pandemic.
