Elton John’s ‘Permission to Dance’ Challenge
After BTS’ leader RM tweets a shoutout to the music icon, Sir Elton John himself responded to it by uploading a video of himself singing a line from the group’s latest hit, “Permission to Dance.” He then gives a shoutout to the group and the fans, saying “Thanks, BTS. Love to the ARMY.”
This isn’t the first time that Elton John and BTS interacted on social media, as he referenced the song back in July with a tweet that said: “When it all seems like itās right, I sing along to @bts_bighit #PermissionToDance”
Revirginized on KTX
Sharon Cuneta stars alongside Marco Gumabao in the film Revirginized, which premiered on Vivamax last August 6. The film centers on Cuneta’s Carmela, a middle-aged woman in a failed marriage who rediscovers herself after joining a group of young girls in a wild beach party. The film comes from director Daryl Yap.

Vivo
Vivo, which premiered last Friday, is the newest animated musical film to watch on Netflix with the kids. It features the voice of Lin-Manuel Miranda as Vivo, a kinkajou who goes on a quest with a tween named Gabi to deliver a love letter from his owner, AndrƩs, to Marta. The film comes from the Oscar-nominated director Kirk DeMicco, co-directed by Brandon Jeffords, and features a star-studded voice cast which includes Zoe SaldaƱa, Michael Rooker, Brian Tyree Henry, Nicole Byer, Ynairaly Simo, and Gloria Estefan.

‘Butter’ 500M YouTube Views
The music video for BTS’ “Butter” achieved yet another milestone as it hit 500 million views on YouTube, 77 days after it premiered on the site last May 21. “Butter” is BTS’ 11th music video to do so, following their other hits like “DNA,” “Fire,” “IDOL,” “Dope,” “Blood Sweat & Tears,” and more. Aside from getting 500M views, the song is also known for topping the Billboard charts week after week.
Kim Yoo Jung in Lovers of the Red Sky
Kim Yoo Jung is set to star alongside Ahn Hyo Seop in the upcoming historical K-drama Lovers of the Red Sky. The drama is based on a novel of the same name by author Jung Eun Gwol, whose other works include Sungkyunkwan Scandal and Moon Embracing the Sun. Kim Yoo Jung stars as Hong Chun Gi, Joseon’s only female painter who regains vision after being born blind. Meanwhile, Ahn Hyo Seop stars as Ha Ram, a blind astrologer who can read the stars despite not having a vision.
The two are joined by Gong Myung as Prince Yangmyung and Kwak Si Yang as Prince Joo Hyan. The drama is set to premiere on South Korean television this August 30.
