Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO has finally revealed its latest device, the POCO M3, at its online global launch today.
The POCO M3 promises to be “More than you expect” with features such as its long battery life, competitive processing power, a decent camera setup, and of course, an affordable price.
Fresh from the success of their mid-range champ POCO X3 NFC, POCO seems eager to continue bringing to consumers highly-competitive devices no matter the price point.
The POCO M3 impresses users with its 6000 mAh battery with 18W Fast Charging. POCO promises this power to last for two and a half days of ample usage and 17 hours of streaming. But despite this hefty battery, the POCO M3 weighs less than 200g.
It also boasts of a triple camera setup headlined by a 48MP main camera which produces nice photos even for its entry-level price point. Alongside this main camera is a 2MP Macro Camera and a 2MP depth sensor. In front is an 8MP camera for your selfies.
As for delivering the experience to its users, this phone has a 6.53″ FHD+ display with slim bezels resulting to a 90.34% screen-to-body ratio. For durability, the screen is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass technology. For a more immersive experience, this new device also has dual speakers.
POCO also addresses some of its users’ pain points when purchasing smartphones. It has an anti-fingerprint surface and its camera bump is less than 1mm high, keeping your phone steady even when placed on a flat surface. It also has a fingerprint scanner on its power button, a 3.5mm audio jack, and IR blaster.
The phone comes in three colors: Power Black, Cool Blue, and the eye-catching POCO Yellow.
Under the hood, the POCO M3 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662, one of the latest 4G 600 series processors this year. It has 4GB RAM with up to 128GB storage, plus a 512GB expandable storage.
The new POCO M3 comes in two variants: the 4GB+64GB variant which is available for P6,990, and the 4GB+128GB variant which is available for P7,990. These current prices are based on Xiaomi’s official global store in Lazada. Early birds can also get a P1,000 discount on both variants when they order on November 27 and 28.
