Just a few months ago, we got a good look with the much anticipated console from Sony, the PlayStation 5.
Now the official prices for its global release this November has been revealed, ready to compete with its rival, the Xbox Series X. The PlayStation 5 Digital Edition will have a recommended retail price of $399.99 (around P19,999) while the PlayStation 5 with an Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive will be sold at $499.99 (around P24,999).
Starting on November 12, the PS5 will be available in seven key markets, specifically US, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea. The global rollout will then continue on November 19, launching at the remaining parts of the world including Europe, Middle East, South America, Asia and South Africa.
Adding to the games available for the PS5 are Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition, Final Fantasy XVI, Five Nights at Freddy’s Security Breach, Hogwarts Legacy, and a new God of War game.
PlayStation 5 owners with PS Plus membership are also in for a treat with the PlayStation Plus Collection. It offers a curated library of beloved PS4 games including Batman Arkham Knight, Bloodborne, Fallout 4, and many more. The collection will be an added benefit to the existing PS4 benefits for PS Plus members. A 12-month subscription costs $59.99 (around P2,999).
