Kiefer Ravena Becomes First Filipino to Join the Jordan Brand

Ravena is now part of the Jumpman family!

NLEX Road Warriors star Kiefer Ravena becomes the first Filipino athlete to join the Jordan Brand Family! The famous brand revealed the news on their website.

With Ravena’s list of achievements throughout his ongoing career, it’s clear that the basketball player deserves the recognition. He is a two-time University Athletic Association of Philippines (UAAP) Seniors Champion and a 2014 Philippine University Games MVP and Champion.

After his feats in college, he was a developmental player for the NBA G-League’s Texas Legends before he was picked by the NLEX Road Warriors in the Philippines Basketball Association (PBA) draft.

Ravena also bagged five gold medals in the Southeast Asian Games, and was named captain of the Gilas Pilipinas at the age of 27.

“I still can’t believe that I’m part of the Jordan Brand Family,” stated Ravena in his Instagram post. “I’m very fortunate to have a great support system. My parents, my friends, my teammates and the fans. In basketball, that’s all you need.

“Thank you [Jordan], I’m thankful for the opportunity to be the first Filipino joining the Jumpman Family,” he added.
