To address the rising cases of COVID-19, the NCR+ bubble underwent ECQ during the Holy Week. After two weeks, Metro Manila and the other NCR+ areas will now be under the less restrictive MECQ (Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine) starting today, April 12 until April 30, 2021.
Under MECQ, The movement of people is limited to accessing essential goods and services or for work in permitted offices or establishments. Those who are below 18 or over 65 years old, people with comorbidities, and pregnant women must still remain at home, except if they have to work or obtain essential goods. Curfew in Metro Manila is also in effect from 8 PM until 5 AM. Check out the guidelines here.
