Pete & Alia is a perfume brand from owners Bridge Lee, Chance Lee, and Vince Go, who understood the issues that some people may have when it comes to alcohol-based perfumes — from allergies to longevity. Because of this, they created their line of solid perfume, which promises to not only be long-lasting and affordable but also cruelty-free and environmentally-conscious. What started off as a solution for one eventually became one that caters to more, living up to the “Alia” in its name, which translates to “others.”
Just in time for the brand’s launch last August 1, the brand has already introduced a diverse range of scents fit for a diverse range of personalities. And although it’s unfortunate that not a lot can go out to flaunt their favorite scents, the people behind Pete & Alia believe that every day is still a reason for every to be at their “tip-top best even at home.”
Pete & Alia takes pride in being the first-ever brand to offer rice-based solid perfume here in the Philippines. Specifically formulated for the Philippine weather, these perfumes are made with rice bran wax instead of beeswax. Because of this, their scents last longer than your usual spray-ons, even despite the warm climate. They’re also buildable, so it’s perfect for those who want their scent stronger or more subtle.
As of now, the brand currently offers “the essentials line”, with 6 different unique and wearable scents. It includes 3 masculine fragrances — damon, alexander, and austin — and 3 feminine fragrances — chance, beldandy, and jasmine. Despite the two categories, though, the owners assure wearers that all these scents are unisex and versatile.
Pete & Alia’s current bestsellers are austin, beldandy, and jasmine, which have all received good reviews because of their unique and universal scents. First-timers who are unsure which scent to get can take Pete & Alia’s personalized quiz, matching them to the scent that fit them most.
