Harvest to Goodness

Get Your Fill of Fresh and Locally-Grown Produce at the Harvest to Goodness Weekend Market

Harvest to Goodness, a weekend market that aims to support local farmers, is now headed for Forbes Town on Sept. 11 to 13 and Newport Mall at Resorts World Manila on Sept. 18 to 20. Shoppers can now avail from a range of fresh and locally-grown produce at farm prices while helping local entrepreneurs and farmers bounce back.Ā

Organized by Megaworld Lifestyle Malls in partnership with the Department of Agriculture, non-profit group Resto PH and DAā€™s Kadiwa ni Ani at Kita (KADIWA) project, the weekend market seeks to support Filipino farmers and food entrepreneurs who have been directly impacted by the global pandemic.

This is now Harvest to Goodnessā€™ fourth and fifth legs, following a successful kickoff at Eastwood City followed by separate legs at Venice Grand Canal in McKinley Hill and Uptown Bonifacio.

Fresh Produce and Dishes

Once again, shoppers can choose from a variety of lowland and highland produce brought by farmers from the provinces of Benguet, Baguio City, Bulacan, and Region IV-A provinces, including Quezon and Batangas. An array of fresh seafood picks, meat products and dairy products are also available.

Resto PH members will also offer special menus featuring farm-to-table dishes made from locally-sourced ingredients. Participating restaurants include Mango Tree, Kureji, Brotzeit, Menya Kokoro, Icebergs, 102 Izakaya, Tokyo Milk Cheese, Monga by Vikings, Recovery Food, and Tepanyaki Brothers.

Safer and Happier

To ensure safety, the weekend market implements government-mandated health and safety protocols such as temperature checks, footwear and hand sanitation, wearing of face masks and face shields and strict observance of social distancing. Cashless payment options powered by PayMaya and contactless transactions will also be available.

Shoppers could also conveniently order from their homes and have their products delivered with the help of personal shopping service app MyKuya. Cashless personal deliveries for food purchases from participating restaurants can also be made via LalaFood and Mr. Speedy.

For those who are driving, curbside pickup is also available. Simply contact and arrange the transactions directly with the farmers and vendors and get your orders at designated pickup locations. Contact details of participating farmers and stalls will be posted at the Megaworld Lifestyle Malls Viber communities, Facebook page, and website.

Catch Harvest to Goodness on at Forbes Town, Forbes Town Road (across Burgos Park & Tipsy Pig) from Sept. 18 to 20, 8am-6pm, and at 81 Newport Blvd., Newport City from Sept. 18-20, 8am-6pm.
