Music streaming service Spotify revealed this week their hit list of the year -- 2017's most-streamed content, including the top artists, albums, and tracks of the year. Can you guess who made it to the top of the most-streamed lists for 2017?

Spotify's Global Year in Music 2017 is led by Ed Sheeran, the English singer-songwriter hailed the most streamed artist of 2017 worldwide with 47 million monthly listeners. 2017 indeed is the year of Ed Sheeran, as his album ÷ (Divide) is the most globally streamed album of the year (3.1 billion streams), and his song Shape of You the most streamed track of all time (over 1.4 billion streams)!

The other artists that made it to the Top 5 list of most-streamed in Spotify are Drake, The Weeknd, Kendrick Lamar, and The Chainsmokers; while Rihanna didn't make it to Top 5, she is 2017's most streamed female artist.

Music lovers couldn't get enough of these Top 5 Songs, streaming them the most this year on Spotify: Shape of You (Ed Sheeran), Despacito - Remix (Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee ft. Justin Bieber), Despacito (Luis Fonsi Ft. Daddy Yankee), Something Just Like This (The Chainsmokers), and I'm the One (DJ Khalid). The Top 5 Albums of the year include ÷ (Ed Sheeran), More Life (Drake), DAMN. (Kendrick Lamar), Starboy (The Weeknd), and Stoney (Post Malone).

The results are in for the top artists streamed in the Philippines, too! The list includes Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars, Coldplay, LANY, Charlie Puth, and local artists like Silent Sanctuary, Moira dela Torre, and Sarah Geronimo. You can now listen to the 50-song playlist on Spotify, and also the Top Tracks of 2017 in Philippines.
