The night manager of a small motel in Arizona falls in love with one of the motel's guests, a reserved woman who sells corporate art. After a couple of clumsy attempts to have a drink with her, his sweetness wins her over just as she leaves for home. The woman just expected a one time thing, but she's shocked to find him showing up where she worked, hoping to continue their relationship.
