  • "Jojo Rabbit" is a black comedy showing the atrocities of war, a fresh and wild take on Nazi movies which are always serious. I thought I'm not gonna like this due to its edgy but sensitive subject, well I'm pleasantly surprised as it's a perfect balance of heartwarming and heartbreaking. Few may not appreciate this style of finding humor in tragedy as it will play with your emotions and you won't know what's gonna happen next! I love the bright-coloured palette and the awesome feel-good soundtrack, too! Taika Waititi who also directed "Thor:Ragnarok" plays the hilarious caricature of Adolf Hitler as innocent Jojo's imaginary friend. I'm guessing this will win at least 1 of its 6 Oscar nominations this Feb. GermanLetters.ShoeLaces.GrimBook.
