The main problem with Kasal (2018) is that their twist was trying to be as unexpected as possible but it turns out that it was just so predictable that everyone who had merely seen its trailer already knows the "twist" of the story. If it weren't for that scene in that trailer, the audience would be somehow shocked and surprised on the outcome of the twist. Also, this film deserves to be rated as R-13. I get that they are trying to impart acceptance and forgiveness as the moral of the story but then the theme and the context of the story is too mature for it's younger viewers. But then, kudos to that intense confrontation scene of the 3 characters. I could not believe that they really had shown that scene. I was really at the edge of my seat upon viewing that scene. Bravo! But don't get me wrong, Kasal is a great film it's just that anyone could have a theory regarding the twist of the film.
