As someone who's a big fan of the book, I loved everything about it. The story was compelling, the effects were impressive, and the cast and their chemistry is just amazing. I may have a shed a few tears. It was everything I ever hoped it would be, but more. Though I can see why most wouldn't exactly think the same. I feel like they could've explained things better to clear any confusion about the whole semantics of the universes and the planets, but in my opinion, I think they did the best they could. I imagine it's really hard to reach a bigger audience who aren't acquainted to the original material, thus not getting as much appreciation, but I do believe that this movie's purpose was less entertainment but more as an experience. It's worth giving a try, and I 100% recommend it.
