All my expectations for a typical Filipino Horror movie was broken by The Debutantes. The story may have been predictable but, how the movie was directed, and the setting of mood made me believe in Filipino Horror movies again. The building-up of scenes to the climax is also great and very the thrilling until the very last shot of the movie. Indeed this is a color horror as it does not use black as darkenss for scares and death scenes, it uses yellow, blue, and pink hues. You may already know wht will happen but you will be wuestioning yourself and your suspisions while watching the movie, only at the end will you find the real and true answer.
