Imagine Gabriel Garcia Marquez writing the script with Charlie Kaufman while Lars von Trier is directing. That's how good this movie is: conceptual and heartbreaking. One of the best films screened in Cinemalaya.

Kusina gives tribute to mothers that unconditionally and generously love their families. It has a good and moving story plus an excellent treatment on screenplay, however, others might not be pleased with that kind. Judy Ann Santos is really an amazing actress. She once again showed that she is one of the best actresses in the industry.
