Sherlock Gnomes 

Directed by John Stevenson, it is a sequel to 2011's Gnomeo & Juliet. The film follows garden gnomes, Gnomeo and Juliet who recruits the renowned detective Sherlock Gnomes to investigate the disappearance of other garden gnomes. It stars the voices of James McAvoy, Emily Blunt, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Mary J. Blige, and Johnny Depp.


 

I Kill Giants 

Directed by Anders Walter, it is based on Kelly and Ken Niimura's graphic novel of the same name. A girl named Barbara Thorson struggles through life by conquering daily teenag struggles during the day while hunting monsters at night. It stars  Madison Wolfe, Imogen Poots, Sydney Wade, Rory Jackson and Zoe Saldana.

The Titan 

Directed by Lennart Ruff, it is a science fiction thriller film which follows a military family who takes part in an experiment of genetic evolution for a space exploration. It stars Sam Worthington, Taylor Schilling and Tom Wilkinson.

 


 

Mary Magdalene 

Directed by Garth Davis, it is a biblical drama film about the woman of the same name. It stars Rooney Mara, Joaquin Phoenix, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Tahar Rahim.


 

Unsane 

Directed, shot and edited by Steven Soderbergh, it is a psychological horror film about a young woman who involuntarily commits herself to a mental institution where she is confronted by her greatest fear who is real or might actually just be a product of her delusion. It stars Claire Foy, Joshua Leonard, Jay Pharoah, Juno Temple, Aimee Mullins and Amy Irving.


 

Wonderstruck 

Directed by Todd Haynes, it is based on the 2011 novel Wonderstruck by Brian Selznick, who also adapted the novel into a screenplay. The story of a young boy in the Midwest is told simultaneously with a tale about a young girl living in New York fifty years ago as they both seek the same mysterious connection. The film stars Oakes Fegley, Julianne Moore, Michelle Williams, and Millicent Simmonds.
