Snake Eyes follows Henry Golding’s character — whose birth name has still not been mentioned in the trailer — who started out working at a fish market and fighting in cage matches. When he saves the life of Storm Shadow, heir of a Japanese ancient clan called Arashikage, he ends up flying to Japan to become part of the clan. It’s there that he experiences the home that he’s been longing for, all while learning the ways of a ninja warrior.
The film comes from director Robert Schwentke. Joining Henry Golding in this film are Andrew Koji, Úrsula Corberó, Samara Weaving, Haruka Abe, Tahehiro Hira, and Iko Uwais.
Snake Eyes premieres in US cinemas this July 23. No release date has been announced yet here in the Philippines.
