A Moment to Remember PH Remake

Alden Richards and Bea Alonzo To Star in the PH Adaptation of Korean Film ‘A Moment To Remember’

Another popular Korean movie is getting a Filipino remake!

Alden Richards and Bea Alonzo will be playing the leads of the 2004 Korean film A Moment To Remember, which originally starred Jung Woo Sung and Crash Landing On You‘s Son Ye Jin.

According to an article published by PEP yesterday, Nuel Naval will be directing the movie, which will be a collaboration between GMA Pictures and Viva Films. Filming begins in January 2021.

The 2004 movie is based on a 2001 Japanese drama Pure Soul. It tells the love story of Chul Soo, a carpenter, and Soo Jin, a woman diagnosed with the early-onset of Alzheimer’s Disease.

John H. Lee and Kim Young Ha won Best Adapted Screenplay for the film at the 2005 Grand Bell Awards. Son Ye jin also won Best Actress for her role at the 15th China Golden Roster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival.

The production team is yet to reveal more information about this upcoming project. In the meantime, you can watch the movie by purchasing it on Amazon Prime Video.
