WATCH: Netflix Drops Official Trailer for ‘We Can Be Heroes’

When the Heroics fall, their kids will rise to save the world!

The official trailer for Netflix’s upcoming super family flick, We Can Be Heroes is here!

Fans of the 2005 film The Adventures of Sharkboy & Lavagirl were thrilled after their return was teased last month. Now, we’ve got a better look at this coming spin-off where their child joins other super kids to save the world. Check out the trailer below:

Earth’s peace has been disrupted when alien invaders kidnapped its superheroes. Meanwhile, their kids have been hidden away in a government safe house. Missy Moreno, the daughter of Heroic Marcus Moreno, teams up with the other super kids to escape the facility and use their power to save their parents.

The film stars Yaya Gosselin, Pedro Pascal, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Taylor Dooley, and more. It is directed by Robert Rodriguez, who also created The Adventures of Sharkboy & Lavagirl and the Spy Kids films.

We Can Be Heroes premieres on Netflix this Christmas Day, December 25.
