KCC To Hold Free Online Screenings of Films About Hope and Love

All three films will be screening for free!

The Korean Cultural Center of the Philippines has recently announced that they’ll be holding another series of online screenings from November 21 to 27. This time around, the organization will be showcasing films spreading hope and love.

The event comes after the successful run of this year’s Korean Film Festival, which happened back in September.

Like for Likes is another 2016 film starring Yoo Ah In, Lee Mi Yeon, and Choi Ji Woo. It follows a TV drama writer and a celebrity who fight whenever they meet; a flight attendant landlady and a chef tenant who find friendship in one another; and a composer who crushes on a scatterbrained producer.

My Love, My Bride

My Love, My Bride is a film which premiered back in 2014. It centers on Yeong Min and Mi Yeong, a young couple who are still in their “honeymoon period” after getting married right after college. Things get complicated when Yeong Min sees Min Yeong when she bumps into him at cafe. As the two struggle to make their marriage work, they also learn and understand what love is. Jo Jung Suk and Shin Min Ah star as the leads in this film.

Aside from the free screenings, KCC also announced that they’ll be holding a special Film Pop Quiz. Here, participants get a chance to win the locally-translated version of the Korean book I Decided to Live as Me by Kim Soo Hyun. This is in partnership with Adarna House.
