The trailer to the highly-anticipated live-action adaptation of The Promised Neverland is finally here, a few months before it premieres in Japanese cinemas this December!
Watch it below:
The Promised Neverland centers on a group of orphans who live a good life at the Grace Field House. That is until two kids — Emma and Norman — discover a secret about the orphanage. They must then work together to plan their escape with the rest of the kids in the orphanage.
The film is based on the Japanese manga series of the same name, which ran from August 2016 to June 2020. Yuichiro Hirakawa directs this film, with a script from Noriko Gotou. Minami Hamabe, Jyo Kairi, RIhito Itagaki, and Keiko Kitagawa star as Emma, Ray, Norman, and Isabella, respectively.
The Promised Neverland premieres in Japan this December 15. No announcement has been made yet as to whether or not the film will screen in the Philippines.
For now, though, you can stream the first season of the anime adaptation on Netflix while waiting for season 2 to arrive in January 2021.
