WATCH: ‘Searching’ Movie Sequel ‘Missing’ Unveils Trailer

A new mystery that requires online sleuthing is hitting theaters early next year!

Sony Pictures has just released the trailer for the new thrilling film Missing, a follow-up to the 2018 movie Searching. This time, we follow a teenager who uses technology to track down her missing mother.

Searching‘s Sev Ohanian and Aneesh Chaganty are back with a new thrilling story, this time about the teenager June. After her mother disappears on a vacation in Colombia with her new boyfriend, June utilizes the latest technology available to her to find her mother. But her search for answers leads her to something bigger, making her realize that she might not really know her mother at all.

From Ohanian and Chaganty’s story, Will Merrick and Nick Johnson served as the new film’s directors and screenwriters. Missing stars Storm Reid, Joaquim de Almeida, Ken Leung, Amy Landecker, Daniel Henney, and Nia Long.
