A quick teaser has been revealed for the much-awaited prequel film of Hunger Games. Titled The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, the new film will also be helmed by Francis Lawrence who directed three films of the original movie saga.
Watch the title teaser below, which features the songbird and the snake shedding layers of snow from their bodies and revealing golden feathers and scales underneath. The clip also teases: “The world will discover who is a songbird and who is a snake.”

The film follows Coriolanus Snow years before he became the tyrannical president of Panem. The 18-year-old Snow finds an opportunity to change his fortune when he gets to mentor the District 12 female tribute, Lucy Gray Baird.
The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and the Snakes stars Rachel Zegler and Tom Blyth. It is set for release in US theaters on November 17, 2023.
