Amityville: The Awakening 

Directed by Franck Khalfoun, it is the nineteenth film based on the Amityville horror. Belle, her sister Juliet and comatose twin brother James move into a new home with their single mother Joan to save money. When strange things begin to happen, Belle starts suspecting her mother isn't telling her everything. She soon discovers they moved into the Amityville house. It stars Bella Thorne, Cameron Monaghan, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Thomas Mann, Jennifer Morrison and Kurtwood Smith.


 

Baby Driver 

Written and directed by Edgar Wright, the story follows Baby who is a talented young getaway driver who relies on the beat of his personal soundtrack to be the best in the game. He then meets his dream girl and sees a chance to let go of his criminal life but after being forced into working for a crime boss, he must do everything he can to make sure his life, love and freedom are unharmed. It stars Ansel Elgort, Kevin Spacey, Lily James, Eiza González, Jon Hamm, Jamie Foxx, and Jon Bernthal.

Snatched 

Directed by Jonathan Levine, it tells the story of an uptight mother and an impulsive daughter who goes on a vacation. Being completely different people, they realize they need to work through their differences to survive the adventure they have gotten themselves into. It stars Amy Schumer, Goldie Hawn, Joan Cusack, Ike Barinholtz, Wanda Sykes and Christopher Meloni.


 

Nabubulok (The Decaying) 

Written and directed by Sonny Calvento, it centers on a woman who goes missing and her American husband suddenly wants to leave the country. They finally find out what happens to the woman after everyone in town starts to investigate. It stars Gina Alajar, JC Santos, Billy Ray Galleon, Jameson Black and Sue Prado.


 

Bagahe (The Baggage) 

Written and directed by Zig Dulay, it tells the story of Mercy who is an OFW and only wants to go home to her family in the Philippines after escaping her cruel boss. She then becomes a suspect of abandoning a fetus at an airplane restroom. It stars Angeli Bayani and Shamaine Buencamino.


 

Ang Pamilyang Hindi Lumuluha 

Written and directed by Mes De Guzman, it tells the story of Cora who has been focused on her career, has lost her husband and child. She then becomes desperate and is in search for the family that doesn't weep, which people believe has the power to bring back lost loved ones. It stars Sharon Cuneta.


 

Kiko Boksingero 

Directed by Thop Nazareno, an 11-year-old boy is left alone with his nanny after his mother's death. Trying to reconnect with his estranged father who was a boxer, the father and son bonds through their love for boxing. It stars Noel Comia Jr. and Yayo Aguila.


 

Requited 

Writen and directed by Nerissa Picadizo, it follows the story of Matt who is suffering from Parkinson's Disease and his journey to fulfill his goal of biking from Manila to Mt. Pinatubo. He then encounters the woman he wants to be with along the way. It stars Anna Luna and Jake Cuenca.


 

Respeto (Respect) 

Directed by Albert Monteras II, it tells the story of a young hip-hop rapper and an older poet who is haunted by the events that occured in Martial Law. They then have to communicate with each other to create and perform their verse. It stars Loonie and Abra.


 

Sa Gabing Nananahimik Ang Mga Kuliglig 

Directed by Iar Lionel B. Arondaing, Father Romi and altar boy Nonoy are torn after Magda confesses that she has committed murder when he found out that her husband and her friend are having an affair. Torn between following the Seal of the Confessional and finding a wy to deliver justice, the two carry the weight of Magda's sins. It stars Angel Aquino, Jake Macapagal, Ruby Moreno, Alex Medina, Karl Medina and Ronwaldo Martin.


 

Ang Guro Kong Di Marunong Magbasa 

Written and directed by Perry Escano, the film is set in a barrio in Mindanao and tells the story of a young farmer who became the educator in their community even though he is illiterate. It stars Alfred Vargas.


 

Baconaua 

Directed by Joseph Israel Laban, it is a coming-of-age film that tells the story of a young provincial girl who is trying to decide whether to have her missing father declared dead amidst the mysticism and realities happening around her. It stars Elora Espano, JM Salvado and Therese Malvar.
