Black Panther 

Directed by Ryan Coogler, it is a superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. T'Challa, after the death of his father, the King of Wakanda, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king. It stars Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, and Andy Serkis.


 

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri 

Written, produced, and directed by Martin McDonagh, it is a crime film which tells the story of Mildred, a mother who rents three billboards to call attention to her daughter's unsolved murder. It stars Frances McDormand, Woody Harrelson, Sam Rockwell, John Hawkes and Peter Dinklage.

Darkest Hour 

Directed by  Joe Wright, it is a fictionalized account of Winston Churchill's early days as Prime Minister as Nazi Germany swept across Western Europe, threatening to defeat the United Kingdom during World War II. It stars Gary Oldman, Ben Mendelsohn, Kristin Scott Thomas, Lily James, Stephen Dillane, and Ronald Pickup.


 

Sin Island 

Directed by Gino M. Santos, it tells the story of David and Kanika who are happily married until Kanika's adulterous affair ruins their relationship, provoking David to start his own affair with Tasha. It stars Xian Lim, Coleen Garcia and Nathalie Hart. 


 

My Fairy Tail Love Story 

Directed by Perci Intalan, it follows Chantel who is a spoiled brat cursed to be a mermaid after she disturbed corals under the sea. With the help of her best friend Noah, they go on a journey to find her Prince Charming who she believes will break the curse she's in.  It stars Janella Salvador, Elmo Magalona, Kiko Estrada, Kiray Celis, Dimples Romana, Dominic Ochoa, Kakai Bautista and more.


 

Marrowbone 

Written and directed by Sergio G. Sánchez, it is a drama horror film that follows the story of a young man and his younger siblings who have concealed the death of their mother to remain together and are plagued by a sinister presence in their home.
