Guy Ritchie, the man behind the films Sherlock Holmes, The Man From U.N.C.L.E., and the live-action adaptation of Aladdin has something new hitting the big screen, and it's an action comedy film with an all-star ensemble.
The Gentlemen brings together Matthew McConaughey (Interstellar, Wolf of Wall Street), Hugh Grant (Notting Hill, The Man From U.N.C.L.E.), Charlie Hunnam (Pacific Rim), Colin Farrell (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them), and a very aggressive Henry Golding (Crazy Rich Asians) in a film about the criminal underworld involved in the illegal cannabis trade.
Check out the new character posters for the film below:
Matthew McConaughey plays the role of Mickey Pearson, an American expat atop a marijuana empire in London. When word gets out that he is planning to cash out of the business, others who want to take over his place in the cannabis trade plot and scheme against him. But as the 'lion' that he is, he'll be proving that such feat wouldn't be too easy.
Alongside the stars above are Michelle Dockery (Downton Abbey), Jeremy Strong (Succession, The Big Short), and Eddie Marsan (Sherlock Holmes, Atomic Blonde). The Gentlemen is coming to local cinemas this January 29, 2020.
