We finally have a first look at Emma Watson, Saoirse Ronan, Meryl Streep, and more in their roles for the upcoming film adaptation of Little Women.
Based on the novel of the same name by Louisa May Alcott, the film revolves around the March sisters: Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy, in their way from childhood to womanhood at the time of Civil War. With their father being off to war, the sisters would have to fight a war of their own brought about by poverty and social constructs.
The much-anticipated film is still gaining its momentum, with its trailer yet to be unveiled. Fortunately, the production has finally released a number of stills through the film's Instagram account for everyone to see:
Little Women is directed and written for film by Greta Gerwig. It stars Emma Watson, Timothee Chalamet, Saoirse Ronan, Meryl Streep, Florence Pugh, Eliza Scanlen, and more! The film is set for a Christmas day release.
