Just when you thought your week can't get any better, the first look at the live-action remake of The Lion King dropped online.
The teaser trailer gives us a glimpse of the animals of the Pride Lands, Simba as a young cub, the stampede scene and that iconic scene where Simba is being presented to everyone by Rafiki.
We also hear James Earl Jones' voice as Mufasa narrating a few lines he made famous in the original 1994 animated film, "Everything the light touches is our kingdom. But a king's time as ruler rises and falls like the sun. One day, the sun will set on my time here and will rise with you as the new king."

Disney's The Lion King remake is directed by Jon Favreau and features the voices of Donald Glover, Seth Rogen, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Billy Eichner, John Oliver, Keegan-Michael Key, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter and James Earl Jones. The film premieres worldwide on July 19, 2019.
