As the country slowly opens up its economy through the GCQ (General Community Quarantine) phase, the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-MEID) has an approved resolution allowing barbershops and hair salons to open business and operate on a limited capacity.
Simply put, barber shops and hair salons are allowed to open during GCQ, but will first operate on a 30% operational capacity starting June 7, 2020, then increasing to 50% after two weeks.
