The actress, herself a makeup-obssessed kikay lady, named her makeup line blkas a play on the word black. She shares on her official makeup website that the color black for her "...is something timeless, elegant, and uncomplicated." To make her debut makeup line come to life, she partnered with Jacqe Yuengtian Gutierrez, creating basic, simple, and essential cosmetic products -- all cruelty-free, and certified by PETA (the actresss is a known animal lover, after all).
