It’s about Kim Shin, a goblin cursed to immortality until he finds his “Bride.” One day, he meets Ji Eun Tak, a girl who could see ghosts, and as he falls in love with her, it starts to dawn on him that she is also the only one who could put him back to the ashes. Starring Gong Yoo and Kim Go Eun, this drama bagged the award for Best Drama at the Korean Cable TV Awards, and gave Gong Yoo his Best Actor Award at the recent Baeksang Arts Awards.
W explores the concept of alternate universe. Oh Yeon Joo is a cardiothoracic surgeon in the “real world,” while Kang Chul is a character who lives in a webtoon created by Yeon Joo’s father. Love in the Moonlight is another historical drama set in 19th century Joseon Dynasty. It’s about Hong Ra-On, a girl disguised as a man to counsel men on dating. After writing a love letter for a client, she meets Lee Yeong, the Crown Prince. Lee Yeong, unaware that Ra On is girl, becomes fond of her and so his eunuchs did everything they can to get her to be one of them. It stars Park Bo Gum and Kim Yu Jung.
