Max’s Restaurant recently rolled out its new festive offering to sweeten up the holiday season! You can now enjoy the flavors of two timeless Christmas treats — Puto Bumbong and Bibingka — in cheesecakes!
Aside from their signature golden fried chicken, the Filipino restaurant’s dessert line with Max’s Corner Bakery is also popular for their baked offerings like the Caramel Bar that’s often the sweet meal-ender to any Max’s fried chicken feast.

Puto Bumbong Cheesecake takes the purple kakanin’s ube-flavored glutinous rice flour base and combines it with a cheesecake. It is also topped with crumbled ube, desiccated coconut, and muscovado sugar.
The Bibingka Cheesecake on the other hand has a vanilla chiffon base and cheesecake. Topping the cake is slices of salted egg and a layer of burned sugar. This dessert is not brand new, as Max’s previously offered this cheesecake-kakanin hybrid during the holiday season last year.
