Motorino, New York and Hong Kong's famous pizzeria, is now open in the Philippines. Currently on dry run, its first store in the country is located at the third floor of Greenbelt 3, Makati.
Pizza lovers need not travel to Brooklyn or Hong Kong to have a taste of the popular pizzas from the pizzeria napoletana. Here's a peek into their first store in Manila!
Neapoletan style pizzas Motolino promises pizza lovers an authentic Neapoletan pizza experience. What makes this style of pizza unique is its soupy center, simple and sparse toppings, and 'leopard-spotted' crust. Neapolitan style pizzas are recommended to be eaten folded. Motolino uses a wood fire oven to bake all their pizzas.
Their current menu showcases 9 pizza flavors to choose from, such as the best-seller Brussels Sprout (P825) and the classic Margherita (P625). Additional Toppings (from P15 to P140, depending on ingredient) can be placed on your pizzas, and there are over a dozen to choose from — veggies, meats, cheeses, anchovies, and more. Pair your pizzas with their selection of red and white wines, imported or local beer, or whisky. For dessert, choose among Tiramisu (P250), Torta al Ciocolato (P225), or homemade Gelato (P125 scoop, P370 bowl with three flavors).
