A restaurant gets playful with our favorite Korean rice bowl — head up north for their signature baps and if you're feeling creative (or picky), customize your very own bibimbap.
Rock & Seoul Bibimbap Bar is a newly opened restaurant at The Block, SM North EDSA, brought by The Relish Group (Wee Nam Kee, Osaka, Ohsho, Kumori). Here, customers are enouraged to 'rock the bap' and invent their own bibimbap combinations (Make Your Own Bap – P290): choose 1 bibimbap topping (assorted beef, pork, chicken, tofu seafood), pick 4 vegetables, then select a sauce (6 to choose from).
If DIY baps aren't your thing then take your pick among their 15 Signature Baps with the most recommended being the Classic Original Bibimbap (P210), Beef Bulgogi Bibimbap (P260), and crispy Korean Fried Chicken Bibimbap (P260). More playful and modern baps take the international route with flavors — there are 'World Baps' like Mexican Taco (P270), Pork Salpicao (P270), and Shawarma (P270). All bibimbap is served with egg, Rock & Seoul’s spicy kimchi butter, and Rock & Seoul’s house sauce.
Other restaurant offerings include other Korean favorites such as Chap Chae noodles, Korean Fried Chicken, and Pajeon (Korean pancake). Rock & Seoul also offers Korean beverages like Mango Oolong Tea, Sikhye (Korean rice drink), Corn Tea, and Barley Tea.
Rock & Seoul Bibimbap Bar is located at the Ground Floor of the Block, SM North EDSA. Open daily from 10am to 10pm. Like Rock & Seoul on Facebook (/rockseoulph) and follow on Instagram (@rockseoulph).
